Be Kind to Yourself 

It is important to look after yourself.

Be Kind to Others

Check in with someone who is having a hard time

Send a handwritten note to someone

Spend time playing with your pet

Tell your family you love them

Smile and say hello to people you may pass every day, but have never spoken to before

Help with household chores

Call a friend

Let someone know you're proud of them

Cook a dish for someone else and leave it outside their front door

Leave a surprise note or drawing outside someone’s door

Help a friend get active, maybe over zoom or facetime

Make and send a care package to someone who needs it

Send a letter to a grandparent

Praise someone for something they have done well

Call a friend that you haven’t spoken to for a while

Tell a family member how much you love and appreciate them

Arrange to have a cup of tea and virtual catch up over zoom or facetime with someone you know

Make a cup of tea for someone you live with

Help with a household chores at home

Offer to skill share with a friend via video call - you could teach guitar, dance etc.

Offer support to vulnerable neighbours

SEND:

·         A motivational text to a friend who is struggling

·         A joke to cheer someone up

·         A picture of a cute animal

·         An inspirational quote

·         An interesting article
